Dr. Voci grew up in Norway, and then came to the United States in 1993. Pursuing her lifelong love for animals she received her under graduate degree in microbiology, then DVM from the University of Georgia in 2005. While in school she volunteered with a local rescue group fostering hundreds of dogs and cats and working adoption events. Following her passion for rescue and preventing pet overpopulation she came to work for Pet Vet in May of 2006. Since that time Dr. Voci has performed thousands of spays and neuters. In December of 2015 she purchased Pet Vet from Dr. Land to continue with her spay/neuter efforts.

Monica lives in Dahlonega with her three children and crew of rescue pets. She has two dogs, five cats, a chinchilla, and an umbrella cockatoo!
